Yes but Tucows ignoring this market is clearly not going to make it
disappear? I'm with JB on this - I think Tucows should make a move in
this direction and if they help make that market more ethical that is a
bonus.

If this would help lower the registration prices then even better.

If it's "all about the almighty dollar," then by all means they  
should start getting into spamming as well, because after all, we all  
know that (sadly) that's a definite profit-center.

In fact, they should seriously also get into specifically setting up  
products and services - using their domain-side tools - to allow  
people to effortlessly move their spam-sites from one place to  
another quickly and efficiently. After all, there's money to be had!
