Simon, If a sunrise application is pending or a decision has been rendered, but has not reached 45 days from that decision (to allow for any disputes), then the name will not yet be available in the landrush.
In the next few weeks, the registry has told the registrar community that they will be releasing lists of names from sunrise that would be available for registration. We only have 3 domains on order, and 2 of these are likely to fail. One a Sun rise application but their are two other earlier applications (presumably from people with the other trademarks in Europe for that name), and one is a normal application preceded by a Sun Rise application for the same domain name. One is straight forward, and unlikely to have other applications with the same name. What resources are around to see what is happening with these domain name. i.e. whois service etc. I've also failed to figure out what the procedure / timescale for the end of Sun Rise. If the sunrise application for a domain fails, will the waiting normal orders for such take effect, or will they fail when they are seen to clash? _______________________________________________ domains-gen mailing list [email protected] http://discuss.tucows.com/mailman/listinfo/domains-gen _______________________________________________ domains-gen mailing list [email protected] http://discuss.tucows.com/mailman/listinfo/domains-gen
