A quick update on the results that we are seeing so far. Prior to the registry opening, we had approximately 35 000 orders queued. Of these:
* 1021 have been successfully registered * 6021 have been unsuccessful * 33 000 orders are still in queue (due to new orders being submitted today) I have also quickly set up an MSN Messenger session for anyone who wants to contact me directly with questions. [EMAIL PROTECTED] I do have some meetings over the course of the day, but I will try to answer your questions in a reasonable amount of time. This update said: [...] Tucows is currently accepting orders for new registrations and placing them in a queue on a first come, first served basis. This queue will be sent to the registry when it opens for General Availability on 07 April. [...] Does this mean that if RSP-A has submitted domain.eu yesterday, and RSP-B has submitted domain.eu today, then RSP-B has zero chance to get the name? If this is true, then what is the point? I mean why are we allowed to submit an order for a domain that has already been requested by another RSP? Also, what is the point in allowing to submit the very same domain multiple times??? (I have just did that...) - Csongor _______________________________________________ domains-gen mailing list [email protected] http://discuss.tucows.com/mailman/listinfo/domains-gen _______________________________________________ domains-gen mailing list [email protected] http://discuss.tucows.com/mailman/listinfo/domains-gen
