Thanks guys. I thought I'd be the only curmudgeon. :-) If it isn't in the email client, it is out of band data. RSS is not a substitute. I think I understand your motivation, but consider your user base.
These lists are used by you, tucows, partly as a crowdsourcing tool. You remove email, you may just be removing the top end of your crowd. We certainly are not the dregs.
