Hummmmm... I'm trying to bite my tongue, but I did come up with a couple of
semi/sort-of solutions that might work for some of you.
  1. Most ISP's have mutiple screen names available to each account.
Sooooooo...join the list serv under a separate screen name and 'hit delete'
to any messages, that aren't your cup of tea.
  2. If you are only interested in Doobie News, then take yourself off the
mailing list and just read the Doobie Brothers Web page @ www.
doobiebrothers.com for news, concert info and updates. (You can after all
still be a fan and not part of this mailing list)
  3. Some of us happen to like the more personal touch of the fan club, and
aren't hooked up through our business, so '200' emails to us is like a
windfall.
This isn't 'Rolling Stone Magazine' and nobody is on a payroll. Getting
daily or weekly Digests/Newsletters come from a big bankroll and resources.
So my third suggestion at 30 seconds a pop, is 'delete' what you don't want
to read or, (and I am DIScouraging this one) unsubscribe.
I love the Doobie Brothers. I love this Fan Club, the polls (meant to get
the members active), the interaction.....AND the silliness at times.
NON DOOBIE RELATED MATERIAL should say so in the Subject line.
Nuff said? Too much said? Write to me directly, off the list. :)
