I could not agree more. Like Laurin keeps saying there are two rules to this
list and if it isn't Doobie related don't send it out.
Before sending these things folks should take the time to check them out. I
called the number at the bottom of the email, talked to an associate of Ms
Bober and THEY DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT IT other than they have received
several phone calls in reference to it.
One of the most respected companies to verify something like this is
www.symantec.com and they just also happen to be the maker of Norton Anti
Virus Software. They do have this virus listed but the listing goes back to
April 1999.
Remember sometimes these viruses and worms are attached to email that you
open and then you forward it to someone else spreading the darn thing. I for
one know this can happen because it just happened to me several weeks ago
with the Happy99 worm (ask Mr. Dubin). If you don't open it you do not catch
it and therefore you can't spread it.
