For some odd reason, I see a common ground on both Kens' part and the interests of the Fan Club. It seems that the true denominator was/ is Doobie music.
If you can no longer get Pat or Tiran or the 82 Farewell Concert or whatever, and a member can record you one, on CD, or tape, and it is out of print, with no hopes of enjoying or even hearing the music, aren't the Doobie fans the very ones that should receive that music?! To use the list as a capital gain is not good, but with good intentions there can be fallout. We should always be able to assist fellow members to receive the Dobbie music, never under false pretenses, never with a profit motive, but always with giving the FC the best music in the world. I need a Tom Johnston recording, can't find it, is it really wrong for an FC member to make me a copy? Like I said, for profit motives, yes, it is wrong, false pretenses, yes, it is wrong, but if I really want Tom' solo, and a FC has it, why should I NOT receive it.
Our President has stated that members were asked to engage in an illegal activity, truly, Laurin is right concerning this, and I like many others concur, this is not the place for that!  I will not join the bandwagon of other members asking for banning a member, but will concern myself, like the President wants, to Doobie talk, and more importantly their music!
Laurin, excellent job on this, as always
