Hi everybody, from the Mile High City.
This post about 8-tracks got me thinkin' about an old mystery. I owned
8-tracks of various Doobie Brothers albums until about 1978, when I traded
my entire collection away for vinyl at a tremendous loss (sound familiar?).
Definitely, the 8-track was going the way of the buffalo.
Anyway, I have hazy memories concerning the "Takin' It to the Streets"
album. It seems that the song order was somewhat different on the 8-track
than on the L.P. To tell the truth, I quite preferred the 8-track order,
and to this day I keep wanting to insert the songs differently when I play
my L.P.
Of course, I haven't seen an 8-track tape for T.I.T.T.S. for about 20 years.
Can someone tell me if this indeed is true, or have I completely left some
memory cells beside the road on the way to the new century?

This may blow your mind but my boss recently gave me an 8-TRACK TAPE of
Toulouse Street. It is sitting on my desk at work. I hope to get some
autographs on it at the Saratoga convention!
