DOOBS......
Cris and Pat put on one hell of a show, featuring the Doobies with Michael
McDonald and an incredible opening act - Bob Bangeter and Blue Groove....in
a 1200 seat acoustically incredible hall last Thursday night in Maui.
As Joe Murphy has already said, the Brothers played for 2 hours doing it
all, and the SRO crowd was into it from the moment the roar of the Harley's
came into the hall until LTTM was finished; Lots of the old and some of the
new.
The Post Party was made that much more intimate with all the guys and their
ladies mixing in with the locals of Maui.
I'd also like to add, that it was my privilege to present to the Presidents
of Haiku School and Seabury Hall, donations from members of the DOOBIE
BROTHERS FAN CLUB IN EXCESS OF SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS ($6,000) - thanks to
all who donated.
Needless to say, it was an incredible journey - Ski Bum Dan and I are just
recovering.....
