Hi Bill and Doob fans ,
That's exciting news about Mike !
I just saw Mike on Wednesday night at the Keswick theatre in Glenside.
The show was awesome. Mike sings so good it's silly .
He did two sets with a 15 minute intermission . He does a good mixture
of the doob-era stuff along with his solo material and also a few R&B covers
thrown in for good measure.
He had the same lineup as when I saw him last year. What a great band!
With all these teeny bob groups hitting it big these days its so refreshing
to see a group of people who can actually play their instruments.
There's no fancy outfits, or big elaborate stage show, just people dressed
like you and and me coming out and playing and singing their asses off.
Just like our doobs do...pure musicianship!!
To all the doob fans out there if Mike comes anywhere near the town you
live in do not miss it. He puts on an great show.
Steve
PS:Mark Russo better watch out , the Sax player in Mikes band is a monster
player. He can give Mark a run for his money very easily .
