Hey Gang, Well once again the Doobie Brothers have strummed my heart strings. I've found myself boogying and crying to Silbing Rivalry and I know that it's my ticket for some serious spirtual healing when I am down. It's very different, which makes it unique and personally I love it! One thing I will say that may be slightly controversial is that The Doobie Brothers do all of the new songs (and old) soooooo much better LIVE. You can still hear the passion in the songs, but you can't 'see' their vocal chords stretching and the interaction. The Doobies are just a perfect LIVE band and I (personally) think alot is lost in the studio without the crowd cheering them on. Unlike so many other bands that suck when you hear them live...the Doobies are true artists and masters of pleasing the crowds. Congrats Rog on your winning the auction! Tooooo cool my friend.
