Reading through the "thank you" credits in the "Sibling Rivalry" booklet was
very exciting, and, at the same time, very humbling. Seeing the Fan Club
mentioned and thanked several times by the band was a feeling that lifted my
spirits to the stratosphere...a gracious and WONDERFUL gesture by the band!

I was left speechless when Doobie Dan pointed out that my name also appeared
in the booklet. I'm still blown away by the honor...so many people have
made the Fan Club what it is today.
While there is absolutely no way I'll be able to remember everybody and
everything, here are some people who have worked to make the Fan Club the
success it has become:
Peter Dubin - Fan Club t-shirts, organizer of the original DBFC Christmas
toy drive, and all around support for the causes and the club...
John Rollason - John designs all of the websites we need for auctions and
conventions. Not to mention that JR put together the wonderful SARATOGA
2000 booklets.
Miles Lumbard - For helping organize the first "On-Air" radio auction. We
have now held many "On-Air" auctions around the country and have raised
THOUSANDS of dollars for charity through these events. Miles also has
handled the "proxy bidding" at the past 2 conventions and has been
instrumental in planning both Saratoga events.
Marla & Marti - For organizing the Fan Club jacket drives.
Chris Passanisi - For continuing to organize the DBFC Toy Drive to benefit
the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital.
Chris Snyder - For handling the finances for SARATOGA 2000 and for just
about singlehandedly ensuring the financial success of Saratoga 1999.
Laurie Stephenson - Laurie organized the first ever DBFC "Favorite Song"
contest...anybody remember the top 3? OK, how many votes did they each get?
Richard & Debbie Zamorano and Debbie Beck - For finding such great locations
for the Las Vegas (can you believe it's been 3 years) and Saratoga
conventions.
Geoff, Mik, Brian, Ronnie, Hubert, Rene, Stuart, Leen, Harry, Carol, Gary,
Erik, and all of the other intenational fans who have made our conventions
truly international events.
Torrey Leininger for helping organize events for fans on the east coast.
Jeanette Keller for all of her help with the Des Moines benefit concert (say
hello to the Queen for us!)
Sherrie Powell for donating an autographed Doobie Brothers guitar to the
NVF...
Rick Santangelo for videotaping both SARATOGA events for posterity
Holly for doing such a great job with the Salt Lake City "Put the Doobie
Brothers in the RRHOF" drive.
Rick and Lori Seaman for 1) bidding $3,600 for the "Listen to the Music"
package in Saratoga, 2) for helping raise over $14,000 at a special event at
their stunt driving school last weekend, and 3) for helping so much at the
conventions.
Doobie Dan & Pat for bringing their collection of Doobie Brothers
memborabilia to share with the members of the Fan Club at the Vegas and
Saratoga conventions. Also for the generous donations of autographed items
we have sold to raise money for charity.
Cliff & Becky Jones - for also sharing their wonderful collection of Doobies
memorbilia to events in Atlantic City and Saratoga...and DRIVING it all from
West Virginia!
David Eaton for renting the room in Laughlin for our very first convention
And to everyone else whom I regretably missed...THANK YOU!!!
The Fan Club, it really is about ALL of us. We sould all be VERY proud of
what we have been able to accomplish these past 3 years. Who would ever
have dreamed it possible? It has truly been a Wild Ride!
