A year or so ago there was a discussion on the list about Pat liking new bands like
the Backstreet Boys. Most comments did not like the idea. Well, Sunday night I had to
take my daughter to see N'sync at Staples Center. They were not that bad. Good
choreography and great effects. If it wasn't for the 20,000 screaming teenage girls I
would have enjoyed it. However, it wasn't until I got there that I found out there
were also five opening acts. Some of which were Rap like Snoop Doggy Dog and the Baha
Men (Who Let the Dogs Out). It was during the rap that I had to go outside. Now you
guys have never seen me, but I have hair past my shoulders and a beard. I also wore a
Grateful Dead concert tie-dye. As I walked around shaking my head I past a couple of
police officers. They were laughing at me. The worst part was in an elevator with an
usher who was maybe 65 or 70 years old. He looked at me and said "Payback's a bitch
ain't it".
Sorry but I had to vent somewhere.
