Wow Chris...You must've stood out like a sore thumb in that crowd!
Amen to that, Scooter. We used to call that stuff "bubble-gum music". We
(my generation) rebelled against the Monkees' type of sound in the '60's.
Then when I had gotten tired of the rage in some of the music of that era the
Doobies came along at the perfect time for me. I never got tired of the
Doobies kind of rock and the rest is, as they say, history.
