Well, I've never posted anything before, so here goes. My name is Bette Anne German and I'm from Alexandria, Virginia. Born and raised here! I've been a fan of the Doobies ever since junior high school when disco was discovered and I had to find an alternative kind of music! Enter the Doobie Brothers. I've seen them in concert a few times and enjoyed them tremendously. I am a fan of the Tom Johnston era and was so upset when he left the group. And can only think of one other happier day then when I discovered he was back with the band (that other happy day would be my wedding day). I'm an Association executive in McLean, Virginia and have been married for almost 4 years. My husband doesn't quite understand my fascination with the Doobies, since he is a classical violinist and doesn't share my love for R & B and other types of music. So he let's me be in my own "Doobie-world"! Fine with me!!! I was hoping to make the LA trip in June, but was just invited to go on cruise to the western Caribbean, so maybe next year! But I'd love to hear from other fans in the Mid-Atlantic area! So glad I found you guys! I enjoy reading the postings and hope to become more involved! Thanks!
