Hello Doobie Family!
I'm Gerry O'Brien.I'm from
Herrin,Illinois,That's in Southern,Illinois.I just
turned 43 last Friday.I'm a Respiratory Therapist in a
local hospital.I've been at that job for 23 yrs.My
husband Dennis and I have been married for 19 yrs.We
have a 16 yr. old daughter,who just got her drivers
liscense,and is driving us CRAZY!We have been Doobie
Fans since 1972.We last saw The Doobies in 1999,and
got to meet them,which was very unexpected!What a
THRILL!I have been in the fanclub for 2 yrs.Wish I
could make the convention,but work,and all that
stuff!Hats off to Brad the Teacher,Great profession
that not everyone could handle,and of course Nurse
Gina,myself being in the medical field,honey you have
my respect!Dave in Denver,I love Rocks!Use to have a
collection when I was a kid,always thought I would be
a geologist,but didn't persue it.Well this is getting
a bit long,so I will close for now,but remember who
the BEST ROCK N ROLL BAND EVER is The DOOBS!
