My name is Joel Stover. I live in the Mountains of Central Pennsylvania, with my son
(12) and daughter (18) (going on 28) and my beautiful wife Sue. Still to this day, I
still can't figure out what she see's in me!! I guess I'm just very lucky!! I work for
the U.S. Dept. of Justice, and that's all I'm gonna say on that!! I'd give anything
to have the brains and the education to be a teacher or a nurse or something other
than what I do!! :-) Been a Doobie Freak since the early 1970's. Saw them a couple
times at the Merry Weather Post Pavilion (spelling ?) in Columbia MD and last year
at the CD signing at HMV records in New York City.
I keep my sanity by playing music. Been playing since I was 6 and will never
stop. I have my own band called the Smokin' Guns. We play classic/country rock and
of course lots of Doobie Stuff, which is the most requested of anything we do. We are
finishing up our first all original CD this month so we are very excited about that.
