Who am I? Hmmm a very complex question (if you've met me you know that's true) but here goes...

I am a happily married 41 year old mother of two grown children.  I have worked as a deputy sheriff for the last ten years currently working in the Patrol Division and I have a sense of humor. (that's necessary sometimes for the job).  My wonderful husband is a restaurant manager.

I love the Doobie Brothers!!!  Yes, I know we all do however I did not fall in love with them as most of you did, I was forced into it by my sister and best friend Ann.  I remember the day well.  I was in our bedroom listening to Donnie Osmond when Ann walked in and said "we are not listening to that"  She put on a Doobie album and said "just listen to this".   I did and for many nights we fell asleep listening to the music.  Thanks to Ann and Another Park Another Sunday, I was hooked.  In 1975 Ann bought our tickets and we went to our first concert. We married, raised children and worked for the next few years and even though the band broke up, Ann continued to play the music.  In 1999 we went to Charlotte.  Ann looked at me with those stars in her eyes and said "I would give anything to meet them".  And in 2000, at the convention we did.

My favorite Doobie moment has to be the look on Anns face when the guys walked into the convention room.

I know I strayed from who am I and went to who is Ann but you have to understand that she took a troubled, in trouble child and turned me around.  She had a hard life yet she thrived.  We're not twins but we are.  She loves the Doobie Brothers and listens to their music daily.  I love them for their music and for getting two teens away from their troubles for a few minutes every time we listened to the music.  As Steve says,  the "Doobies Rule"
