Ahhright mister KC from Branham High ( San Jose of course ).
We at Pioneer ( again San Jose ) thrived on a huge dose of
local Doobies along with some pretty darn good music, UFO,
Allman Bros. Montrose, did I mention the Doobies?? Heck, our
cheerleaders at Pioneer did a dance routine to Daughters of the Sea!!
Now don't get me wrong, there is a place for this bubblegum music.
I would rather have my kids reciting Sugar Sugar then some of the
Britney Lyrics or some gangsta rap tunes. The simplicity and childish
lyrics are what get the younguns to clap their hands and move their feet
hence starting an entry level of music appreciation.
But to mention that Sugar Sugar is an all time fav hurts me so. What about
Yummy Yummy or Dizzy??
Jeez, you guys from the westside of Meridian Ave. crack me up.......
Let me send you a tape of some real charmers!! K-tel has a site
where I can create my own CD of cheese. I'm sure you will want
to dust of the Altec Voice of the Theatre's and throw a block party!
Yeah Baby!
