For a number of years now I've been working on the hardware and firmware for a new seismograph. At this point everything is pretty stable, but we're lacking a front-end application to drive it. Honestly, my brain just isn't wired for UI design and coding ;-(

We're looking for somebody who can help us get the application off the ground, and ideally work on it long-term. The catch is that we're running low on money and the initial work would be on spec, pending initial ship in a 6-8 weeks if all goes well.

The application itself needs to target Windows initially, but I'd much prefer starting with something like Qt that's intrinsically cross-platform. I work exclusively in Linux right now, as well. The app has to implement a seismic-survey workflow, combined with the special requirements of our hardware. I've gotten the hardware interface nice and simple though, the driver presents a "command-line socket" with actual English commands.

If anybody is interested, please email me ASAP.

Thanks!
