Does anyone on the west side (Hillsboro etc) have some 3mm PLA I could try just to make sure (just need a few feet).
I built a new Kossel from a kit and thought it was 1.75mm but it looks like in uses 3mm (RTFM right?). This printer kit has been a bit of a nightmare so I am hesitant to invest any more time/money until I know I’ve solved the problem. For what it’s worth, the extruder drive has a tension bearing that fits the 1.75mm filament very nicely so that is what I ordered. However, now that I try to print, the filament backs up inside the extruder and when I pull out the plug of molten PLA, it measures 3mm. I suspect using the right filament will solve my problems.
