It would probably be easier and more fruitful to just 3D model something
similar than to try to wedge they Ergodox PCB into their frame.  You might
even be able to hack something together using old parts from something like
a camera Tri-pod or Panvise.

I'm looking at making a mod that hooks up a 1" OLED to the Teensy that will
display the current "layer" / state your in and status for lock keys and
modifiers.
