Thanks for bringing the early Stenosaurus to dorkbot several weeks ago!
It was fun to see the development of that thing, and an open steno
movement is certainly inspiring!
Our mutual friend Marc Greenberg is premiering his steno documentary at
SXSW tomorrow:

Since this came up in the keyboard thread, I thought I'd mention (for
Thomas, heh) that the layperson doesn't realize that the steno machine
isn't just another keyboard. It's unlikely that a steno system (at
least not as it exists today) would be used to efficiently generate
keystrokes/scan codes. A steno machine must be combined with pretty
sophisticated software, an ever-evoloving dictionary, and LOTS of
training/practice to be effective.
I haven't (yet) heard of anybody using/customizing a steno system to
write code...tho the idea is fascinating to me.

As soon as we get the Novena heirlooms shipped off, Josh (of
CrowdSupply) and I are back to the Stenosaurus final stretch. Looking
forward to it.

You all should go steno! ....less keys should be easier to build.
