I was just looking at Mouser, but that is almost 1.5x the price of mechanical
keyboards.com<http://keyboards.com>. I guess no need to combine orders then.

Thanks for the tip,
Andy

Where are you looking at getting switches from? I found Digikey to expensive.
The best I've found is

I’d be looking at Cherry MX Blue switches if anyone else wants to combine an
order. There is a small price break at each qty increase.

We just hit 10 sets of PCBs so we're down to $25 a pair now.

I asked the fastest typer I know if he was interested and this was his
feedback, just FYI (I can only personally hope for a
Brain-Computer-Interface) ::::

 :(

they should make superfast keyboards instead (all existing designs are
not superfast)

on a related note, we are not anywhere close to maximum information
extraction from hand and finger movements per second

10-15 keystrokes/second does not seem to be the maximum

(and really this is 10-15 keystrokes/second over a set of possible keystrokes)

i wonder if electric shocks applied immediately after a keystroke has
been registered would be a faster way to disengage from a single
keystroke
