I'm trying one of these DC/DC power supplies that are built onto an ATX
supply connector for running an AMD mini-ITX computer:

Is it really plausible that you can supply 200W from a 12V laptop-size
power supply?  That's 16 amps!  Most power supplies I've seen are in the
65-100W range (which is 5-8 amps...still quite a bit!)  And using a
barrel jack?

It seems too good to be true...anybody have experience with these?
Maybe it's 200W peak, but still good enough for ordinary PC power loads?
