The Bournemouth town center company I work for (Sky Repair Services UK) is looking for a 1st line support engineer (Microsoft). Its a junior position ideally suited to a school leaver. The job role will involve:- * Create / Disable Active Directory accounts * Create / Disable user mailboxes * Monitor daily and weekly backups * Run weekly backups each Monday * Archive voice recorder calls each Monday. * Rename phone system agents * Create / rename phone extensions * All initial printer support * All initial workstation support * All initial telephone support. * Building and deploying new workstations * Monitor printer toner stock levels and inform the ICT Manager when stock needs replacing * Monitor the support queue and respond to new requests within 1 working hour. * Monitor antivirus updates, report all viruses detected to the ICT Manager. * Monitor Microsoft updates * Reboot servers when required for security updates to be installed. * Other jobs as your skills grow and management see fit. Training will be given on all of the above. They are ideally looking for somebody with good communication skills, the ability to learn new things quickly and above all an enthusiasm for IT. If they have the ability they could very quickly be looking after the day to day ICT support requirements of the company.
