Hi,
Anyone know anything about language settings in Kubuntu 9.04?
My son is learning Japanese, so he installed the language packs and fonts
using KPackageKit and set the language to Japanese in the System
Settings/Regional and Language dialogue. This seemed to work OK as far as it
went, but when he went back into the Regional and Language dialogue and
changed back to British English, some of his menu items remained in Japanese
fonts! This is particularly noticeable in the 'K' Menu, but the System
Settings menus are also wrong, amongst others.
He's tried removing the stuff that he originally installed, but to no avail.
(I cannot confirm that he actually removed everything because I wasn't here
when he did it, but I've had a look and can't find anything else to remove.
Any ideas?
