I'm amazed that you found anything on the Novatech forums. I've so far had no
success except by browsing around in the hope that something turns up. The
search says no hits when I enter 'X10' and / or 'Mic', which is some
achievement when I'm in the forum that contains a post with both words!
However, it's interesting that this guy had no problems and I am. Maybe I'll
install Ubuntu 9.10 and see if it's a kernel thing or something. However, I
don't hold out much hope since my X10 works fine with 2 external mics; one
straight analogue and one USB.
