And now the bad news.
You also have to install mono and Gtk#, but that's no problem.
What is a problem is that the business end was created using OpenCV2
whereas distros like Mepis are still using OpenCV1.
I'll do a backport and put it in a separate directory.
Stone age stuff, but it should be rewarding.
