Odd. I popped down there this evening for a quick one (Greene King
Abbot £2.60, their IPA was waiting to have its barrel changed (was on
£1.79 promo recently, don't know what they charge currently, sorry),
they have a new guest ale due tomorrow); the guy behind the bar didn't
know about WiFi. I sat in the snug and found a secured WEP access
point - will try phoning tomorrow and see if I can get the guy I spoke
to before (note to self - always get the person's name!). Like Ralph I
don't find WiFi access critical but it is a nice-to-have.

The 'snug' is not, as I ahd supposed, a separate room. Rather it's an
area sort of removed from the main space - come in the main entrance,
go towards the pool tables and look left).

I suppose we stay with it for now, being as the venue has been announced.

Well that will please the republicans on the list ;-)
