You could try Mepis (www.mepis.org), current versions are 8 (for KDE3) and 8.5 (for Kde 4.3), but version 11 (don't ask) is currently under development and due out towards the end of the year. Mepis is based on Debian Lenny and has a very strong and helpful support community.
