Hi folks, My partner's ASUS Eee PC 1000HE netbook has been much abused and started smoking the last time it was plugged in.
Does anybody have any recommendations for decent cheap netbooks that will happily run a standard Ubuntu distro? Hoping to avoid the hassle I had to go through to get the wifi working on the ASUS box a few years back when I didn't ask this sort of question before purchasing :-) Thanks in advance for any advice.
