Well its been a while since I bought mine, but I bought my X10 Netbook from Novatech about 18 months ago. It's happily run every version of Ubuntu since I got it. They don't sell that one any more, but this seems to be a fairly similar spec: http://www.novatech.co.uk/laptop/range/n1.html I couldn't find it on the forums there, but you could post a query to find out if there are any prblems with Linux. The forums are quite lively and there is a Linux section. Best of all, they sell nearly all of their computers OS free, so you won't have to pay for a crippled version of W7 and then throw it away, like most of the competition these days. -- Terry Coles 64 bit computing with Kubuntu Linux -- Next meeting: Bournemouth, Tuesday 2011-12-06 20:00 Meets, Mailing list, IRC, LinkedIn, ... http://dorset.lug.org.uk/ New thread on mailing list: mailto:[email protected] How to Report Bugs Effectively: http://goo.gl/4Xue
