Which distro are you using? Some of the last kernel versions in the 2.6
series had a bug that made them use too much power. That may be the cause of
the hot running. (Or maybe it would do that anyway.)
Our X10 runs reasonably cool using Ubuntu 10.10, which has a V 3.0.x kernel.
However, no X86 series Netbook is that good, because they are generally
running on fairly power-hungry chips.
Paul's Asus Transformer Tablet (with K/B dock) runs a lot cooler, but that on
ARM and costs about twice as much as a Netbook.
