Hi Tim; I can search for individual names or groups when creating an
email, but there is no interface for updating. In fact, in the Address
book tab, the LDAP address book shows up in the left hand panel (between
Personal and Collected) but the count for total contacts in LDAP is 0,
the menu item for New List is greyed out, and if I select New Contact,
LDAP is not offered as an address book to create the entry in.
So yes, that's what Jxplorer is for.
By the way, I was searching the Thunderbird support site for topics on
updating LDAP from Thunderbird - it's been discussed since 2004!.
