Hi, Ambling home last after a pub curry and a couple of ciders, a lady puffing on a fag by a doorway asked if I was any good at maths puzzles. Turns out she'd popped out from a charity quiz going on up the stairs behind her with her team stuck for an answer...
‘What number is the odd one out, and why: 2 4 6 8 13 19.’ I gave her an off-the-cuff answer, she repeated it back in a different way to make sure she got it, stubbed out the half-gasped ciggy and trotted back up the stairs. I went home. Thus I don't know the answer. I've tried Googling, but it doesn't seem to be a common question. AI Grok has been asked, more on that later. And I've tried to think of other possible answers with no thoughts resulting.
