Hi Tim,

so I uninstalled [flatpak]. This morning my system tells me there is
an update and it wants to install package flatpak (1.16.6-1~deb13u2).
I think this will show what wants it installed.

     apt-rdepends --state-follow=Installed --state-show=Installed -r flatpak

If it prints just ‘flatpak’ then no other installed or
marked-for-install package has it as a dependency.

Perhaps it is still marked for install from earlier?

     apt-mark showinstall | grep -x flatpak

How do I block it from installing the Flatpak application??
Is it simply:
     sudo apt-mark hold flatpak (1.16.6-1~deb13u2)
Or is it:
     sudo apt-mark hold flatpak
The latter. Afterwards, ‘apt-mark showhold’ should confirm.
