But this is obvious and is not needed to be clarified.
With linux it may not be so obvious as the linux progs may be
explicitly written for linux and use its headers.
For dosemu this part is simply irrelevant.

It is arguably much better to have that just in readme, instead
of explicitly modifying all such a files. But in dosemu also the
files that explicitly stated otherwise were modified.

So either the above interpretation is completely wrong, or
what was done in dosemu have no relation to the above
quote from Linus.

Please provide your view, please clarify why mine is wrong,
and why it is always stated that this has some relation to
what Linus did.
