Please send me resumes to [email protected] New DBA role: *Database Administrator * Location: CO (prefer local) Duration: 6 months Rate: $50 inclusive Need: Responsible for the administration, optimization, monitoring, tuning and backup/retrieval of enterprise databases. Additional responsibilities include creating and maintaining user access, space management, database refreshes, and database security. Monitors database for potential problems and creates end-user reports. May write and tune SQL or PL/SQL code. May participate in data migration activities or work with application development teams to provide database access and knowledge. Provides appropriate consulting, interfacing, and training for users. Establishes and maintains policies, standard operating procedures, and associated documentation for user interaction with the database environment. A minimum of 3-5 years experience as a Database Administrator is required.
