New DBA role:



*Database Administrator *

Location: CO (prefer local)

Duration: 6 months

Rate: $50 inclusive

Need: Responsible for the administration, optimization, monitoring, tuning
and backup/retrieval of enterprise databases. Additional responsibilities
include creating and maintaining user access, space management, database
refreshes, and database security. Monitors database for potential problems
and creates end-user reports. May write and tune SQL or PL/SQL code. May
participate in data migration activities or work with application
development teams to provide database access and knowledge. Provides
appropriate consulting, interfacing, and training for users. Establishes and
maintains policies, standard operating procedures, and associated
documentation for user interaction with the database environment. A minimum
of 3-5 years experience as a Database Administrator is required.

Candidate must have following skills:
• Clarity™ Application Administration
• Reporting (SQL)
• Analysis (Excel)
• Data mining, validation, reporting, analysis
Candidate also must:
• Possess strong analytical skills
• Possess strong work ethic
• Be a critical thinker
• Be detail orientated
• Possess the ability to query data and present it in a meaningful manner
• Be excellent with SQL
• Be excellent with Excel (2007)
• Self sufficient to work through workload with minimal guidance
• Be confident in their output is correct
The following would be a plus:
• Experience with CA Clarity™
o Specifically with Clarity Studio
o NSQL
• XML
• VBA
