REQUIREMENT Our client *manual testing (really no automation), have the ability to write SQL queries, and can write test cases*. They will also need to have very good communication skills. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* · Produce testing scenarios, assist in creating test plans and perform test plan execution with quantifiable results. · Monitor testing progress on assigned projects according to the project plan and raise problems to management’s attention. · Create and execute test cases based on requirements · Creation and refinement of testing artifacts, including test cases, manuals, training documentation, templates and other required documentation. · Identify, create and execute processes to perform meticulous testing of all technology applications. This includes functional and regression testing of front and back end functionality, scheduled and ad hoc batch job output, new client implementations and existing client change management support. · Collaborate regularly with the existing technology disciplines to ensure QA processes and procedures are followed according to the Quality Assurance plan. · Help ensure relevant test coverage. · Assist in stress testing key system components by working closely with the infrastructure organization. · Execute test cases and deliver test result reports. · Enforce change management process in conjunction with the Service Desk to maintain consistency among all environments (development, QA, stage and production) · Exceptional support of clients in a 24 x 7 web based environment. *Experience and Skills Required:* · Must have initiative and the innate desire to be inquisitive, be responsible and be creative. · Bachelor’s degree preferred or 5 years experience in testing in web-based applications · Q/A experience with web-based applications a must. · Experience creating test cases and executing all levels of testing · Proven ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously · Experience working on multiple projects at the same time · Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a variety of people · Excellent written and verbal communications/ability to communicate complex ideas and technical issues · Proficiency in Microsoft suite of desktop applications (MS-Office, MS-Project, and Visio, Word, Excel) · Must be flexible, proactive, quick-to-learn, and have a can-do attitude. *Skills & Knowledge Desired:* · Understanding of leading browsers along with their specific constraints and capabilities to render web-based applications. · Previous experience utilizing PL/SQL and T-SQL to validate test results through database table inspection. · Automated testing experience is a plus. ** Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
