In this role you can look forward to… Playing an active role in all aspects of software development, including technical designs, implementation, functional analysis, and release Taking a leadership role in transforming several relational databases to high performance non-relational data stores (*Mongo db, Cassandra etc).* Performing logical and physical data modeling Troubleshoot, trend, analyze and resolve data and database problems in a production environment. Developing optimized stored procedures to solve complex problems; tune databases and systems for peak performance Working with Product owners and the engineering team to maintain a healthy backlog by providing estimates, constraints and schedules Actively participating in technical reviews and contribute to improving engineering practices and excellence. Developing innovative solutions to business problems/processes as a full stack engineer What you can bring to the team… *3-4 years experience of database modeling, design*, development, and implementation experience in a mission critical OLTP environment. Excellent debugging/troubleshooting skills to support high load production systems Experience with non-relational datastores (Mongodb, Cassandra etc). *2-3 years experience with optimizing Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2012* utilizing indexing, partitioning and caching patterns and technologies Experience *with .NET or Java development* with the goal of mastering. Exposure to web services technologies preferred.
