*Position : Oracle EBS Developer* *Duration : 6+ Months* *Location : Houston TX* *Interview Mode : Phone then F2F * They will be developing actual oracle integration code not segmented to a specific module. The Oracle EBS Applications Developer must have: - Four or more years of focused experience with application development activities in the Oracle E-Business Suite, including writing SQL, PL/SQL programs, Concurrent Programs, SQL*Plus, Java & Linux scripting, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, BI Publisher and Oracle Workflow. - While this role Involves developing new functionality, RICEW (Reports, Interfaces, Customizations, Extensions, Workflows) tasks, the right candidate should be experienced with production support. - SQL and PL/SQL Development and tuning, system Interfaces, Oracle Forms personalization’s, Oracle OAF customizations, and Data Conversions. - Candidates will need to develop technical specifications for small enhancement projects and be familiar with the Release 12.1.3 E-Business Suite architecture, and design solutions that leverage Oracle-delivered functionality, using cost-effective techniques that consider TCO and Support resource requirements. - Oracle Applications Developers will work closely with the Applications DBA team, Project Managers, and Functional Application Analysts. - Understanding and experience with Oracle EBS Financials applications, Oracle EBS SCM applications, and business processes including GL, AP, AR, PO and OM; as well as a working knowledge of Oracle Projects and Project billing interfaces (with Oracle AR). - Other prior experience with SOA integration and B2B applications is desired. *Responsibilities* · Understand and translate MD50 Functional Design Specs new solutions, reporting, and other enhancements into working technical solutions*. * Provide technical support for testing and implementation of bugs and enhancements. · Design and develop technical solutions that apply mainstream and supportable application architectures, and scalable database technologies - including PL/SQL programs, batch programs, SQL*Plus, Java and Linux scripting, Oracle Applications User Interface design & development, software engineering, and application or report development. - Estimate development time in agreement with senior technicians per task and perform to meet the delivery date. Notify appropriate personnel concerning date slippages. - Work with Application Analysts to ensure accurate understanding and/or technical limitations to EBS Project Technical Development Requests. · Document customizations including, component architecture, file locations, and/ or file entries to ensure that all customizations are reproducible. · Including the development data conversion scripts, user test scripts, and coordination of user testing activities. - Develop and debug PL/SQL and report issues in the modified reports and interfaces. Prepare the status reports as needed. - Must be familiar with the BI Publisher Technology for developing new reports and customizing Oracle seeded reports. - Provide data fix scripts as technical solutions when applicable. - Must be familiar with the usage and implementation of Concurrent Programs, as well as other AOL objects, needed for the registration of concurrent requests, custom programs and functions for EBS Financial applications. - Work with Oracle Support when necessary, by creating and monitoring Service Requests in My Oracle Support, for technical bugs found in the Oracle EBS applications or technical stack. - Use automated code migration tool to catalog development objects per Change Request that will be migrated to non-development environments by other personnel. Help in the verification of proper code object migrations to various environments, including production. - Demonstrates the ability to provide a timely resolution to production support requests for supported applications/technology, manage support activity based on work backlog and priority of production issues.
