Title: *DevOps Engineer* Location: *Philadelphia, PA * Interview Process: *Technical phone screen followed by a face-to-face personal interview.* Duration: *Long Term Rolling Contract* Additional Information: All Candidates must be local to *PA, NJ, NY, MD, DE or DC *or willing to come in for a face to face final interview *Job Description:* *DevOps Engineer* *Location: *Philadelphia, PA 19103 *Job Description:* • Candidate will be performing software configuration management and change management for a major customer facing application. • Involved with both pre-production and production deploying as well as managing software and system. • Primarily making sure modifications/software gets built and deployed to QA/Pre-production and then into production. • The environment is primarily a java shop, so the code and all of the system configurations on top of the OS before Java layer - done in puppet • Everything is based around software delivery and customer facing features. *Job Requirements:* • Needs to have experience with Linux/Unix systems administration • Java application deployment and support in production. • Must have experience with puppet administration. • Scripting in any of the modern software languages (Ruby, Python, etc.) - puppet is written in Ruby so prior experience with puppet is a plus. • Experience with production systems integration is a plus. • Experience with AWS infrastructure and modern deployment tools is a plus but not required.
