I want to develop my application in the English VS IDE, but I want the application to be localized for English, Japanese, and several European languages/cultures.
When would I use the Japanese version of the framework? How does the Japanese version of the framework differ? Richard J. We Japanese see two postings on the site. One is said to be Microsoft .NET Framework, and the other is Microsoft .NET Framework Japanese Version. The size is slightly different. This seems to me that some attributes of those files are wrong and they are not treated as "the same software for the different culture". So, I think it is your turn now. Learn Japanese. Famous Jeffrey Richter have learnt Japanese sometime ago (see Chapter 12 of his latest book). It's pretty interesting language. :-) > -----Original Message----- > From: dotnet discussion [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > On Behalf Of Thomas Tomiczek > Sent: Monday, April 15, 2002 2:51 PM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Re: [DOTNET] Windows .NET Framework, Japanese version > > > Same here - dotNET japanese was suddenly installed :-( > > Does this mean I have to learn this language now? > > > Regards > > Thomas Tomiczek > THONA Consulting Ltd. > (Microsoft MVP C#/.NET) > > > > -----Original Message----- > From: Brent E.
