Hi: We are having difficulties getting vs.net to do asp.net remote debugging.
We have a winxp client with vs.net installed, a win2k server with iis 5.0, all windows component updates & vs.net remote debugging. The server has got two IPs, one is the primary machine IP (say named EARTH) and the secondary IP (say named WORK). Both the IPs are bound to IIS and have Frontpage extensions enabled. The Domain Users have been added to Debug Users group in the server. The issue is that, when we create a new asp.net project from vs.net using FP extensions, everything works fine with http://earth (the website associated to primary IP of the machine). When we create a project in the second IP's website (i.e http://work), the debugger refuses to load. I have checked DNS Entries and all KBs but no use. Any help to solve this will be greatly appreciated. Please mark a CC of your reply to my email ID also.
