After that I added the ".NET Configuration" snap-in into MMC as Henrik
described, I saved this console setting as mscorcfg.msc on my desktop
--> renamed the old (bad) one --> moved the new mscorcfg.msc to the
original place (C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.0.3705)

Now, it is working for me the same way as originally!

Why can't you just use the .NET Framework Conig from Start => Programs
=>
Admin Tools ? You can copy this shortcut and put it on the Desktop or
the
Quick Launch, atleast saves you the trouble of adding the snap-in every
time.
