Also, if you are concerned about security ?! :) Web Services ------------ Can be secured and clients authenticated using IIS mechanisms (NTLM, Basic, Certificates etc)
Remoting -------- Has no native support for security/authentication unless you use IIS as the host server (which will compromise performance somewhat).
