I actually have VS.NET on a PII/266 and 256Mb and for most cases it is quite adequate. But you mention migrating to Win2K. I am running XP Professional. And yes if I had my wish I would first get more memory.

Microsoft states that this is the minimum requirement for running Visual Studio.Net. Does anyone have any experience running VS.NET on a PII/450? I would like to know if its worth the cost of migrating to Win2K and adding additional memory.
