Everytime I attempt to run a C# project that depends on other projects
in the same solution, it recompiles them all, even the ones that haven't
changed in weeks, and then launches the application. I'm reading
Richter's book, and he mentions how the auto-increment of build numbers
doesn't work; would my still using it cause this problem?

Heck, is it a problem, or expected behavior?

I don't mind too much on my usual computer, but I'm working on a slower
system for the next few weeks, and a slowdown of thirty seconds each
compilation is a bit of a hassle.
