Hey Andrew - I asume that you mean you're running the application from the IDE. I think that this might work for what you want:
1) Open your 'Solution Explorer' window 2) Right click on your solution (at the top of the tree) 3) Select Properties 4) Select Configuration Properties (in the left window of the dialog box) 5) De-Select each 'Build' checkbox for the projects that you don't wish to re-build.
